Artist Info: Based in Copenhagen, RDG is the founder of Circle Vision and host of the Subtle Radio Show The Zone. With releases on Samurai Music, Gourmet Beats, Boka, New World Audio, and more, RDG is an established heavy hitter. Having cut his teeth booking and playing the nightclubs of Copenhagen, he operates with a keen understanding of all elements of dance music and uses this to produce highly innovative work that pushes the boundaries of traditional 140, while still retaining that raw Dubstep feeling we know and love. Jungle Technology sees RDG push this even further, with outstanding production throughout as well as the additions of interludes between tracks, the record will play as a seamless experience, while still serving as a serious dance floor weapon for DJ’s.

A1. Slumber Dub: Slow and loping. True to its title, "Slumber Dub" rocks listeners back and forth with its heaving bass line, but trust us, no sleep will be had while this track plays. Eerie pads and dubbed out hats push this track forward as the bass chugs along. Heavy percussion and magnified drum hits add to the feeling of impact on every instance of bass, creating a punishing atmosphere throughout.

A2. Digital Age: Evoking both machinelike and prehistoric vibes, "Digital Age" sounds equal parts dystopic future and Cretaceous period. Highly cinematic in its production, RDG's sound design prowess really shines here. Endless waves of bass accompanied by echoes of future tech sounds reminiscent of Blade Runner or Kubrick's Space Odyssey. Eliciting thoughts of large, slow walking, creatures and machines, the cadence of the rhythm instantly transports you to another world.

B1. Cut Em Out: An ode to rage, "Cut Em Out" may be the most aggressive tune on the record. Rolling bass, hard-edged leads, and a beat that you can't help but nod your head to, this one is a standout. Slight stepper vibes as well as a hefty snare work alongside the machinelike synths, conjuring images of futuristic factories and robotic armies on the march. The atmosphere created in the intro and interlude add to the feeling of being immersed in the Jungle referred to in the title. When paired with the rest of the record, "Cut Em Out" both shines on its own while further progressing the narrative of Jungle Technology.
"Cut em out" "Cotton Mouth" Whatever he's saying, the tune bangs.***

B2. Zaigon: An ominous and spacey intro gives way to a relentless, twisting bass line that makes one feel as if they're careening through a blackhole. Truly, the first half of this tune could be described as Willy Wonka's water boat ride on opium. The convulsing bass is emphasized by the shuffling hats, as the kick and snare stay fixed on 1 & 3. The drum pattern conveys an intense impact that centers this oscillating void created by the bass. As the track progresses, tribal percussion reinforces the bass on the upbeats, while the bass shifts between a softer sine and the original, more aggressive sound from the first portion of the track. "Zaigon" will fill your mind with imagery apt for the title Jungle Technology, while delivering a powerful punch to the dance floor.
